Rest assured, this preamp is in good working condition, and it even comes with the reliable Onkyo R1 remote. Whoever gets their hands on this beauty will enjoy its performance for many years to come. It has primarily been used for 2-channel setups and is especially great for turntable use. Ive included detailed photos that reveal two minuscule nicks on one corner, and the top of the bezel, although they are barely noticeable. Additionally, I want to be transparent about the battery cover on the remote control. Two tabs that secure the cover in place have broken off over time. Not to worry, a simple fix can be done with a small piece of black electric tape, which Ive used successfully for many years. Alternatively, if youre a crafty individual, you could fashion new tabs or even 3D print a new cover. Also a humming noise when adjusting the volume with the remote as you can see and hear in the video attached., probably just needs a little dab of silicon lubricant oil. Manually adjusting the volume works just fine. The InfaRed cover lens is also missing on the remote.
