Up for sale is my personal Integra M506RS. When I purchsed about 5 years ago I had it serviced so all the caps would be new and anything else needed would be changed. I also had all the lamps replaced. The unit shows red meters when starting up and converts to green meters when ready. This amp is special! Hate to part with it, but heres your chance to own a restored classic. Im asking less than what I have invested in it. Its probably the most beautiful piece in my collection of audio gear. My amp, in unrestored condition, is rich & full, plenty of detail and very musical; plenty powerful to drive a pair of Vandersteens among other speakers. I do not find it to run hot as others have noted but I do not listen at ear splitting levels. Ive found this amp to render rock, jazz, and classical with accuracy & depth. Very complex classical pieces can get a bit confused but that might be the recordings or a fault elsewhere in my system. I am looking to have the M506 RS restored - I dont want to risk electronic failure to due lack of maintenance. I sold off the pre as I thought that a little muddy. I never noticed a significant difference between the super servo & no super servo. I have A/B d this amp directly with Carver and Parasound - in my opinion they do not come close.
