This is a terrific vintage Onkyo 6 disc stereo CD changer that works as it should. No remote. As opposed to other CD changers that have one large spinning changing disc in a large CD drawer, this unit uses a compact cartridge that stacks the CDs to save space. I personally find units that use cartridges superior to the large drawer variety. As you can see from the video, the cartridge has individual CD holders that swing out from the body of the cartridge for loading and unloading discs. If you should purchase this unit, make note that CDs must be placed in the holder face down! While this seems counterintuitive, it is correct. I have personally tested all aspects of this changer and confirmed everything works as it should. I also cleaned the laser lens thouroughly. There are some minor scuffs and scratches from normal use.
