Sie bieten hier auf ein handgemachtes Paar »Ohm Walsh AE 5000« – Nachfolger der legendären Ohm F Lautsprecher – hier inklusive der Aktivierungsoption mittels zwei in separaten Gehäusen untergebrachten 300-W-Leistungsverstärkern. Wer sich für diese seltenen »Rundumstrahler« interessiert, weiß sicher, um was für Schmuckstücke es sich hier handelt. Alle anderen seien auf die Firma »audible emotions« verwiesen, namentlich Herr Matthias Ertel, von dem ich diese Traumlautsprecher 2014 erworben habe. Auf dessen Website sind auch alle relevanten Informationen über die Ohm’scheTechnik und Magie zu finden. Aufgrund von Hobbyaufgabe + geplantem Umzug in kleinere Räumlichkeitenumständehalber abzugeben. Der von »audible emotions« verbaute Leistungsverstärker (im zum Lautsprecher passend furnierten Gehäuse) verbindet robuste Kraftreserven von 300W Dauerleistung für hohe Pegel und Dynamik mit der Feinzeichnung audiophiler Endverstärker. Das Spektrum der Integrationsmöglichkeiten der Ohm Walsh AE 5000 ist groß: Im einfachsten Fall braucht es nur einen Vorverstärker oder eine Musikquelle mit integrierter Vorstufe. Im besten Fall koppelt eine digitale Frequenzweiche mit Einmess-Mikro die Walsh-Treiber an die Endstufe: für ein Maximum an Klangvolumen, Auflösung, Dynamik und individueller Anpassung per PC an die Raumgegebenheiten (Stichwort: DSP). Ich persönlich habe im Laufe der Zeit alle Varianten mit großer Freude einmal durchgespielt … vom Anschluss an digitale Raumkorrektur-Alleskönner (DCN28 von GroundSound oder DSPeaker Anti-Mode 2.0Dual Core) bis hin zum direkten, ungefilterten Anschluss an eine kleine Pro-Ject Vorstufe (Pre Box DS2 digital). Letzteres ist auch die aktuelle Konstellation, über den die Lautsprecher-Mono-Endstufen-Kombi im Rahmen der Selbstabholung gern gehört werden kann. Hinweis: Bitte haben Sie Verständnis dafür, dass ich während der Auktion keine Hör-Sessions anbiete. This listing is for a pair of Ohm Walsh 2000 speakers. It would be difficult to overstate how great these speakers sound. The sound is just huge, even though it is coming from a mid-sized speaker. The speakers are in excellent condition. The only thing that Id mention is that the grills are, for the most part, trapezoidal in shape. However, one side of one of the grills appears a little more squared off (@ 90 degrees) compared to the others. You can actually shape these in your hand if you wanted to as the perforated sheet metal interior frame is actually somewhat bendable. Ive just never been motivated to do so. Ohm has been making loudspeakers in the USA (Brooklyn) for at least 50 years and still does so today. They even sell replacement parts and upgrades for their older speakers, including these. So if you wanted to purchase new grills for some reason, they are available.
