Unfortunately three of the modules dont pass the self test and, therefore three channels (5, 6, 7) dont work - see red lights in the pictures.I purchased the amplifier from the original owner in this condition as I never intended to use it as a HT amplifier.I used this amplifier to Bi-Amp a pair of Definitive Technology BP-30. The preamplifier used was Proceed AVP and Proceed AVP2 through the XLR connections.Since channels 5, 6, 7 are not functional/not used, the power connectors have been disconnected from these three modules. The amplifier is now configured as a DUAL stereo amplifier: channel 1 and 2 are powered by ONE ASSIGNED POWER SUPPLY and channels 3, 4 are powered by the SECOND ASSIGNED POWER SUPPLY.This way there is COMPLETE SEPARATION between channels 1/2 used for bi-amping left speaker and channels 3/4 used for bi-amping right speaker.The sound was extremely powerful and detailed, not bright just detailed.
