Very good Neunann / Telefunken transformer from the golden era of Germany vintage audio consoles and microphones. This is for a pair of permalloy core moving coil, mic or line level transformers for 100:600 ohms impedance matching. Use it to get that wonderful transformer sound, with low end that is full and deep, creamy and present mid and very smooth highs. You can use it as a MC step-up with a gentle ratio to bring up your MC signal and get less noise and a much better overal character. You vould also use it as a rematch unit. Lets say you have a MC step-up transformer that you use with a low imoedamce source, wired as 10:100 ohms or 5:150 ohms (such as some Jörgen Shou units) or something alike. Use this transformer in series to bring to the audio signal an extra and welcome boost. I do recommend that serious audiophiles tries tgese configurations with two or even multiple audio transformers in series. The results really are awesome if you know what you are doing. It also goes very well as a line level unit on many places in a setup, such as between the preamp and the amplifier, after the DAC, CD or DVD player, on the outputs of a smart TV box or media player, an MP3 player. Also if you like active crossovers and EQs, you can use it both on inputs or outputs of these. But if you are into DIY, you could implement it on the tube amp or preamps (in and out), a DAC, etc. For musicians and producers that likes to build stuff for thier studios, you could use it as input for Pultec type EQ or other passive EQs, an 1176 compressor clone (feed it with a mic, yeah!), NEVE 2254 diode comp, Spectrasonics type or Jensen 990 mic preamps, etc. This is a Neumann pro audio part, so completely TOP NOTCH!
