Nakamich ZX-7 Discrete Head Cassette Deck acquired from the family of the original owner. This unit was part of an audiophile stereo system in the living room of a luxury home. Unfortunately, I gave this unit a quick test and it doesnt work. The deck powers up but thats about as good as it gets. I hear the motor start when depressing the Rew/FF switches, but it only turns for a second or two. The heads and mechinical parts are dusty. I did my best to take a couple of pictures. I wont go near the heads or rollers since I dont know the proper clean procedure. None of that the last time I used it, or untested stuff...this deck doesnt work and needs service / repair. Cosmetically there are some small marks on the case which I touched up with black marker. Face is very good with all controls, buttons, and switches intact. Due to age, a long period of non-use this cassette deck is offered for restoration/parts and sold as is. Please view the auction photos. What you see is Exactly what you get. NO UNPLEASANT SURPRISES.
