Up for auction is a Nakamichi 670ZX 3 head stereo cassette deck. The deck is fully serviced and the following repairs have been done: - Cleaned the heads and pinch rollers. - Lubricated the transport mechanism.- Replaced the belts and idler tire, adjusted the motor speed, W&F 0.055% to 0.065%. - Adjusted the playback/record heads for correct height/azimuth.- Replaced the reel sensor/function buttons/counter/cassette compartment /VU meter light bulbs.- Replaced two bad ICs on the azimuth pcb board. - Replaced the audio path electrolytic caps using Nichicon Muse non polar (green capacitors) and WIMA audio caps.- Replaced the power supply and logic circuits electrolytic caps using Nichicon FW/FG and United chemicon caps.- Replaced the orange PP capacitors using Wima PP (red) caps.- Upgraded the audio path electrolytic capacitors using 1uf Wima film caps and added 0.47uF Wima film caps in parallel with the 10uF Nichicon Muse non polar caps.- Increased the +12V power supply filter cap value from 4700uF to 10000uF and -12V from 2200uF to 3300uF.- Increased the +/-12V power supply filter caps from 1000uF to 2200uF.- Increased the playback amp power supply filter caps value from 47uF to 470uF.- Increased the Dolby power supply filter caps value from 220uF to 470uF.- Increased the line out amp power supply filter caps from 47uF to 100uF.- Cleaned the potentiometers and switches using deoxit D5 - Adjusted the electronics for correct levels and bias using TDK D/SA/MA tapes. All the functions are operating as they should be, playback, record, ff, rew, pause, cue, RAMM, counter, counter memory, dolby B, test tone oscillator, MPX. The performance is excellent, in both playback and recording modes, especially now with the new audio caps. Externally it is in good condition, considering the age (please check the pictures). This is a 120V model, S/N 06436, production date 1980. With the deck are included the old parts. All the questions are very welcome. I moved recently in US from Greece, where I was working in Greek Nakamichi service during 90s and I have all the professional equipment (original test tapes, oscilloscope, wow & flutter meter, distortion meter, frequency response meter, CR-7 test unit, 1000ZXL test unit). Tout est ok mais le kit de courroie doit être changé , environ 15-20€, à la remise en route il y a quelques jours tout est ok, testé en pause à lenregistrement, etc... pas de bouton hors service, tout est oppérationnel, lors du demontage des capots et des tests, tous les moteurs fonctionnent mais lentrainement non car les courroies sont détendues, je ne suis malheureusement pas capable de faire le changement des courroies nétant pas bricoleuret le technicien qui sen occupait depuis 1990 est parti en retraite, je ne vend pas de produits douteux ou irréparables, il sont seulement resté à larrét pendant presque 20 ans et les courroies sont détendues vous pouvez consulter mes notes sur mes autres ventes, je ne suis pas un rigolo ni un escroc.
