KINDLY REFRAIN FROM BIDDING IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THESE TERMS. Extremely rare and highly sought after audio tester from Nakamichi. Currently there are a few units on eBay worldwide ranging from £1650 to £1900 buy it now. Research for yourself. 7 day auction starting at £99.99 or send me an offer! Downsizing my home HiFi setup, Ive had this for around 3 years and while it has performed flawlessly for my needs (mainly setting recording levels / wow & flutter checking on my Nakamichi CR7 which I also have up for sale, please check out my other auctions) I am selling this for SPARES / REPAIRS / PARTS ONLY because I cant guarantee any specific calibration or function, the unit is obviously very old and could probably do with a tune up / re-calibration. All knobs and switches appear to be functioning fine, I can go through and select the different modes with no issue. The Gas Discharge Display is very bright / clear and responsive. Serial Number: 03699 Please study the photos carefully, the unit is in good condition for its age but does have some scuff marks here and there on the sides. The front of the unit is in fantastic condition, no lettering has worn away. Missing 1 x rubber stick on foot on underside, see photo (you can replace these using a standard rubber foot available very cheaply). Missing 4 x side screws (see photos), previous owner said he misplaced them after servicing. The unit still has 6 side screws per side so its very secure and solid, you can probably track down replacement screws easily. So please keep the above information in mind when bidding, once again, THIS AUCTION IS FOR SPARES / REPAIRS / PARTS ONLY, NO RETURNS ACCEPTED. I pride myself on being an open and honest seller, any questions please ask and I will answer as best I can. Also viewings in person are highly recommended, especially if you are familiar with these units as you can test for yourself before purchasing and will most likely find the unit to be functioning perfectly. Please note that this unit is a 220v / 240v device. UK shipping via UPS / DPD fully insured. Worldwide shipping via the eBay Global Shipping Program. Description Designed for reel to reel, cassette decks, and turntables. Probably the fanciest meter on the market ever and very useful for repair and calibration. Invaluable for the recording process - as measurement, bias, recorder settings can be checked before recording high-quality audio. The Nakamichi T-100 Audio Analyzer is a powerful diagnostic instrument which enables you to get the optimum performance from your audio system.Originally conceived as a tool for the serious recordist, the Analyzer also provides valuable information about preamplifiers, amplifiers, turntables, phonograph cartridges, loudspeakers, and microphones. The T-100 incorporates the functions of an oscillator, a vacuum tube volt meter, a distortion meter, and a wow & flutter meter in a compact, portable form. The oscillator provides 21 different frequencies and pink noise for accurate frequency measurements from 20Hz to 20kHz. The pink noise generator is particularly useful for subjective testing of tape decks, loudspeakers, and microphones. The 400Hz oscillator can be used with the built-in distortion analyzer to measure the harmonic distortion of tape decks and amplifiers. The 3kHz oscillator allows you to test a tape decks record/play wow & flutter with a choice of weighted or unweighted readings. With a 3kHz test tape, you can measure playback-only tape speed deviation and wow & flutter. With a 3kHz test record, you can measure turntable wow & flutter. The T-100 also provides A-weighted noise readings of inputs down to 10uV.Finally, the Analyzer provides extremely accurate peak or average level indication. You can use the Analyzer to supplement the VU meters of your tape deck and avoid tape saturation when you record.By connecting the Analyzer in parallel with your speakers, you can avoid amplifier/speaker overload when you play back.
