This is a relatively new model among many vintage cassette decks. The drive belt and tension belt have been replaced and it has been confirmed that there are no abnormalities in basic operations such as recording playback Pause FF REW etc. The sound quality is heavy as is typical of independent 3-head decks. The sound quality is like an independent 3-head machine and you can listen to the high quality sound with a lot of extension and depth from the heavy bass to the delicate super highs. The appearance is clean considering its age. However since it is a used product there are some scratches and dings so please do not buy it if you are nervous about it. Please check the photos for personal differences in the way you feel. The item is a main unit including power cable and a rare Service Manual which is essential for maintenance. The manual is provided on a CD-R. Also a cassette tape that was made for operation check is included. This is a high quality jazz music tape dubbed 1:1 from a 2tr38 safety sub-master tape using a STUDER A807 open reel deck for studio use as the sender. Recorded in Dolby B. The recording level has been lowered slightly due to high peak content. This is a valuable source but the recording is a bonus and should be erased.
