Vintage 1990 Nakamichi CD player 3 (CDP-3) Music Bank System. This is a 6 + 1 disc changer. A serious piece of Hi-Fi ( hifi ) equipment from the early 90s. Does not include remote, but they are available on eBay. Includes RCA cable and some original pamphlets. Unit serial number matches the box!!! Fully working and operational. I took it out of the box, and replaced all 3 belts inside. The originals were slipping and no longer round. So I can guarantee not only that the player + changer work, but that they will last longer than other units for sale (that havent been serviced). I made sure to clean and test both the rear RCA jacks, and the front headphone line jack, and both worked great. Cosmetically, it is in wonderful condition. there is some very light cosmetic scratching on the exterior metal case, but nothing too noticeable aside from up close. There may be light discoloration on the top of the unit, but again it is only if youre looking for it. The most noticeable blemish would be a horizontal scuff that runs along the CD door (which is metal). It could possibly be buffed out, but I didnt try. Potentially 2 small nicks on the front. But use the pictures to judge condition; metal has a nice sheen, and plastic is new-looking. This deck might not have been used too much, because the transport lock was still engaged when I took it out of the box. I plan to package this box inside of a slightly larger box. I will add extra packaging to this inner box as well. I can potentially just ship it in this box upon request, which may be slightly cheaper. This retro transport would be a great gift for any audiophile. Nakamichi, the makers of the loved Nakamichi Dragon cassette deck, are known for their craftsmanship and quality.
