It has some cosmetic wear and tear as youll see in the photographs. In working order for playback, recording and fast forward, I think the deck MAY need a new belt as tape rewind is slow / laboured. Please also note that the power switch plunger was repaired about 20 years ago which temporarily fixed a known issue with stickiness of the switch. Both the belt and plunger could be permanently repaired by a qualified engineer and this is reflected in the price. Sonically, the cassette deck is excellent, especially on Metal tapes (as tested.)
