Nakamichi 550 magazine ad. Taken from the October 77 issue of Audio Magazine. It is an original. In good condition. Safely packed, we do include a stiff cardboard insert, the insert and ad wrapped with saran wrap and a Please Do Not Bend sticker on the envelope to help preserve the integrity of the ad.

It came with my Nak 550 sometime around 1977 and its been in storage since then. I have no idea what its worth. The price is just a guess so make an offer.

Nakamichi 550 Portable Dual-Tracer Versatile Stereo Cassette Deck. Acquired from the family of the original owner. This is a substantial audiophile quality deck, and in the day, many used it for both a portable and home stereo component. I dont have the plug-in power cord, or the batteries needed to test this unit. Unit has some marks here and there. There is some vinyl shrinkage on the back which is missing one plastic screw ferule. Battery compartment is clean. To be on the safe side I will rate this unit in fair cosmetic condition. Please view the auction photos, since they are the most important part of this description. Due to age, a long period of non-use, and the inability to test this deck is offered as is. I assume it needs service/repair. What you see is Exactly what you get. NO UNPLEASANT SURPRISES.
