1999 Nakamichi SoundSpace 8 Sub Amplifier +2 Remotes + Cables Ive had this Nakamichi SoundSpace 8 sub and amplifier for decades, last used a year + ago when I had the working CD/AM/FM unit and satellite speakers control unit, not played since, hence, I cannot offer you any guarantee or warranty to its performance Both remotes have the battery back covers but I removed them to show the battery contact terminals which are not rusted as shown in the pictures --- note that the smaller remote has a missing front cover shown in picture # 8 that would be attached to the top where you would point the RF beam light to The subs control cables are intact on both ends The black AC cable has some white paint as shown in picture #10 next to the control cable The grey fabric on the sub has a rip or tear at the front corner and a part of the fabric has a stain at the very top shown in pictures # 1 & 12 The body of the sub has light stains, scuffs, scratches and dirt/dust/webs as do the cables The red and white RCA cables are intact and 2 pair of speaker wires are included but did not come with the unit The black and red speaker tabs at the back of the sub are both intact The sub level adjustment control is not seized ~ 35 lbs + / - Shippings to Continental US

The Amplifier has been totally serviced with nothing to do but check the idle current (see picture of Multimeter) at 4 millivolts, every capacitor, resistor, MOSFETs, potentiometer has been tested producing perfect sine wave ( see Oscilloscope picture) This Nakamichi Amplifier 1 has had minimal use if any there are no signs of usage no heat marks on any boards minty fresh and very rare to find this timeless classic. Very powerful presentation great soundstage silvery highs expressive mid range and vocals, great control of bass to great depth and punch, CD direct for total bypass, motorized Alps input selector no chips in the line path all discrete components, 4 gang motorised Alps volume control, 63v 10.000uf power caps amazing. There is also a availablity for MM or MC turntable amazing phono amp. Nakamichi Amplifier 1 Harmonic Time Alignment circuit topology In the preamp and power amp stages , open-loop gain is designed with a high cut-off point, and local NFB (negative feedback) is used sparingly. This approach faithfully preserves the phase relationship of the music signal and distortion components, making distortion all but inaudible. Enjoy. Nakamichi 410 Preamplifier Works Fine w/ Phono. In good used condition. shows average wear for its age. All line level inputs and MM phono inputs work as they should.Tape functions were not checked.Controls and switches treated with F-5 & D-5 Deoxit cleaners and work as designed. Power indicator lamp is not working.Under the hood, things are pretty clean with minimal dust. The circuit boards are populated with all original components.There is no sign of service work. It appears the top cover was re-sprayed at some point. Anodized black face-plate shows its age with some lettering worn away and mottling in places.See photos for physical condition.I bought this some while back with the intention of re-capping it and using it in my office system.Time marches on and I dont see that happening now.Guaranteed as described.
