Naim NAC-N272 Streaming Pre- Amplifier. Great Condition.. I’ve owned this great unit since 2017. It has a digital section, and you can stream music to it from a variety of different sources including streaming services. I always used uPnP connection to my NAS drive. Always hard wired, so I never tested wireless or Bluetooth capability. You can connect drive’s via USB port. The analogue section is a high quality pre-amp, so you can directly connect the unit to a power amplifier of your choice. The power amplifier shown in some of the pictures is not for sale, but it matched well. You can also directly connect analogue inputs to the unit. Comes with manual and all original packaging. Unit has had only light use over the time I’ve owned it.

The NAC-N 272 was Naims first combined pre-amp and streamer and with Naims reputation for superb build quality and a focus on musical delivery, this pre-amp and media player is a great partner for a suitable Naim power amp such as a NAP200 or NAP250 to form a great system. This NAC-N 272 (serial no 401059) is in very good condition with only a couple of very minor marks on the metal case-work. Please see the photo of the front left edge where there is a minor rub-mark for example. The unit is ready to connect to your network, either via an ethernet cable or wifi, and has both Spotify and Tidal subscription services available from the menu. Together with over 15000 internet radio stations available via your live broadband connection, there is plenty of streamed music available. The unit is supplied with the accessories shown (see details below) and has been fully tested by us before listing it for sale. Please note that as is common with the display on this model, there is fading to some of the pixels which results in a slightly uneven brightness in the display. However, as can be seen from the photos this does not prevent information being displayed adequately on the screen. In any case, most customers use the Naim app to control the unit using a phone or tablet. Please note this unit is the UK spec model, so is suitable for 220v - 240v 50 Hz mains supplies. It is supplied with the Naim MK IEC mains cable. The Naim user manual is no longer available with this unit, but can be downloaded from the Naim website.
