It must be one of the longest running power amplifiers still in production today, their website quotes 1975 as the year of introduction. In all that time, the NAP 250 has had three makeovers at long intervals, and only one major internal upgrade, which happened in 2015 and warranted a slight name change to the NAP 250 DR. Our example dates from 2004 and was upgraded by Naim to the full DR specification and serviced in March 2017. DR modules were fitted along with a new logo and reservoir caps replaced we have an email from NAIM to confirm this. It comes classed as in good condition as it does have a couple of minor blemishes and is supplied in its factory packaging, with mains cable, manual, XLR – 4Pin DIN cable plus our usual three month warranty.
