Here is a really rare NAGRA JBR SPY recorder from a recently purchased collection of NAGRA Machines. This is a pocket recorder including remote stop start switch and a pair of microphones. The unit appears to run ok when batteries are inserted but as I do not have a playback unit cant verify the state of recordings. The battery carrier has no corrosion as shown in the photos it is a low serial number unit 2604505, the internals all look pristine. It comes with 1 x NAGRA JBR tape and in original NAGRA box as supplied in Australia. Also included is an original manual, I also cant guarantee what secrets may be recorded on the tape. The head shows no wear at all as do most of the tape path guides, the rear top cover retaining clip is missing. Shipping is quoted as tracked with signature required, but insurance will only be quoted on final sale depending on shipping method and country. Nagra IV? David Lane Time Code Version Unit is in the Nagra IV style but there is no model number and an illegible serial number. It has the David Lane face plate and internal board/s There is no power supply (4 pin) so there is no way to test this unit. It looks, to be in good mechanical condition with things mechanically turning as they should inside and out. The control panel knobs and switches all mechanically operate as expected. Picture 12 shows a loose tension? spring which needs reseating. The lid damper seal is perished on one corner. No battery option on this model. The tin base plate covers a circuit board base. The unit is sold as seen for spares. There are no returns.
