It was only marketed for about a year or so. It?s essentially the SLC505 passive preamp mated to the GFA 535 amp section. There is no pre-amp stage; it?s a high gain amplifier section mated to a passive line controller.50wpc @ 8 ohms and 75wpc @ 4 ohmsVolume, bal, source and source record are the only controls.Here?s what the Adcom manual says:The GCA-510 is an innovative example of the minimalist school of circuit design. Although it offers the convenience of an ?integrated amplifier?, it?s actually a very high gain power amp preceded by a passive level controller. There is no separate preamplifier stage. The complementary output stage features discrete high power devices operated in a high bias class AB mode. This design employs no current limiting; the amplifier is capable of driving low impedance loads and is also virtually impervious to speaker/cable reactance. Precise speaker control is further assured by the intentional elimination of output coils to provide a constant high damping factor over the entire audio range

Verkaufe halbautomatischen riemengetrieben Dual Plattenspieler 510 in Nussbaumzarge, getönter Acrylglashaube, mit dem Original-Tonabnehmersystem Shure M 95 G-LM mit sehr guter elliptischer Nadel in sowohl technisch als auch optisch einwandfreiem Zustand. Das Gerät wurde von mir komplett gewartet und eingestellt, dabei natürlich auch das Standard-Audiokabel gegen ein doppelt geschirmtes Kabel mit Cinch-Steckern ersetzt. Der Plattenspieler funktioniert tadellos und klingt sowohl bei 33 als auch bei 45 U/min ohne Brumm- oder sonstige Störgeräusche und hat dabei einen wunderbaren Klang. Alle Funktionen gegeben, wie z.B. die automatische Endabschaltung mit Anheben des Tonarms, der übrigens auch im 1249 Anwendung findet, die Drehzahlfeinjustage und Kontrolle via Stroboskop-Lampe, sanftes Senken des Tonarmlifts und der „Pilot-Lift“ – die praktische Einspurhilfe beim Aufsetzen des Tonarms. Zarge, Chassis und Haube sind ebenfalls in sehr gutem Zustand, letztere nahezu kratzerfrei, lediglich hinten links hat sie leider einen sehr sehr kleinen ca. 5mm langen Riss, der aber im Betrieb absolut nicht sichtbar ist (siehe Bild). Einen Puck für 45er Singles und die Bedienungsanleitung für den Plattenspieler selbst und das Tonabnehmersystem lege ich bei. Der Plattenspieler kann gerne bei mir in Augenschein genommen, ausprobiert und probegehört werden, ich verschicke ihn aber auch sehr gut und versandsicher verpackt gegen Übernahme der Portokosten mit DHL (€19,99) – Hermes-Fan bin ich leider nicht.
