This is an audiophile level NAD 2400 Power Envelope stereo power amplifier in excellent operating condition. This amplifiers rated power for continuous test tones is 100 watts per channel. If even more power is required, the two channels of the 2400 can be bridged to create a 200 watt single-channel amplifier. Each stage of the amplifier (input, driver, and output) is individually decoupled from the power supply to prevent the dynamic supply-modulation distortion that causes some amplifiers to sound veiled and muddy. With a signal to noise ratio of 118dB, it also provides transparent, distortionless reproduction of quiet musical passages and the smallest details. This 2400 has been well maintained and kept in a temperature controlled, non-smoking environment. There are some minor stacking scratches (refer to photos) but overall the amp is in great condition inside and out. Terms of Sale: Payment is expected within 3 days or item will be re-listed. Classic NAD 2400 Power Amplifier 100 WPC. Monitor Series Power Amplifier. This unit sounds good but it does have a couple issues from being over 30 years old. Theres a small amount of intermittent noise which probably comes from a speaker relay that needs to be replaced. Also the power cable has been replaced. And volume sometimes goes down unexpectedly a few minutes into being warmed up. The unit is perfectly functional despite these issues.
