NAD C272 is another of the great line of NAD products that have offered high performance for the dollar. It is conservatively rated at 150w/channel, and was highly rated when introduced. See https://www.stereophile.com/integratedamps/1006nad/index.html. This was my go-to amp for tough-to-drive speakers, like my Martin Logan CLSs. Ive switched to more efficient speakers since Ive moved in with my (now) wife, so no longer need this power. Im replacing it with the NAD 3050. The amp has several places where the anodized black has been scuffed off - Ive tried hard to show these to be fair. Id rate this amp as a 7 cosmetically, and it is fully functional. Does not ship in original boxes - but Ill pack it well.

This is a vintage NAD 2200 Power Envelope Stereo power Amplifier. It has had all electrolytic capacitors except the four power supply ones replaced with high quality replacements. Several other components were replaced as well, including the output relays, that often go bad with age. The binding posts have been replaced with new nicer ones. This amplifier sounds much louder than its rated power, probably due to its dynamic power capabilities. There is a great review of this amp on Audio Science Review. It carries a relatively moderate power rating of 100 watts per channel into 8-ohm loads from 20 to 20,000 Hz with no more than 0.03 percent distortion. In size, weight, and price, it is similar to a number of other good 100-watt amplifiers. Not surprisingly, it follows the NAD tradition of giving its amplifiers conservative power ratings and the ability to drive low-impedance speaker loads without difficulty (the clipping power output is specified as 140 watts into 8 ohms or 200 watts into 4 ohms).However, the NAD 2200—which the manufacturer calls the “Power Tracker”—has some remarkable dynamic power capabilities. I purchased this on eBay roughly a year ago with full intentions of getting it inspected and fixed. That time never came... I am now downsizing and selling my working NAD 3150 that I planned to pair this power amp with. (See my other listings for the 3150 Integrated Amp) This Power Envelope 2200 is in good physical condition, but is not working. It will power on, then go into protection mode. From what Ive researched before initially purchasing it, it tends to be a reasonable fix. Note that case is missing screws and also missing one foot. This is a super example of a Technics SL-1210 MK2 that has been cared for at home and just used to play records. I dont think there is a single mark. The only thing you would find if at all is a few cleaning swils on the perspex which you cant avoid.
