The cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter & the results are posted in two of the photos. The readings are close & have a difference of less than 3.2%. The included stylus is a used, genuine Shure N91ED “Hi-Track”. It is in very good condition, with hundreds of hours left on it. This is the earlier made in the U.S.A. stylus with the thin cantilever, not the later made in Mexico version with the “fat” cantilever. The stylus has a “nude” .2 x .7 mil elliptical tip & the tracking force is ¾ ~ 1½ grams. Also included is a set of mounting hardware. Since the cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter & this combination has been visually checked, there are NO returns or refunds. This is the 103rd M91ED I have posted on eBay & I have sold over 1200 moving margent cartridges. This item will require an adults’ signature for delivery. Shure M91ED Cartridge w/ Original Shure N91ED .2 x .7 Mil Elliptical Stylus – T4 This listing is for one used Shure M91ED cartridge. The cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter & the results are posted in two of the photos. The readings are equal / matched. The metal cartridge body is missing the paint on the sides. The included stylus is a used Shure N91ED. The stylus has a nude mounted .2 x .7 mil elliptical tip & the tracking force is ¾ ~ 1½ grams. The stylus tip is in very good condition. The stylus is the earlier U.S.A. made version, which has the “thin” cantilever, not the later made in Mexico version that has the much less desirable “fat” cantilever. Also included is the original stylus guard, spec/data sheet, & the pill bottle. Since the cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter, & this combination has been visually inspected, there are NO returns or refunds. This item will require an adults’ signature for delivery. The shown mailing cost includes full insurance & a delivery signature. This is the 99th M91ED I have posted on eBay & I have sold over 1180 moving magnet cartridges. All of the cartridge/stylus combinations I sell are sold AS IS - in working condition. I do not offer ANY type of refund, exchange, or return on these cartridge/stylus combinations. If you have an issue with sibilance, it probably means that the cartridge/stylus is not a good match for your tonearm. Not that there is anything defective with this cartridge or stylus. Note: The cantilever (the thin silver tube which the stylus tip is mounted to) is the fragile part of the stylus assembly. The stylus needs to be handled carefully. If the buyer breaks or bends the cantilever when un-packaging, inserting the stylus assembly into the cartridge, or handling the cartridge once the stylus is mounted, I will not be held responsible. This includes while mounting the cartridge to your headshell. It is best to mount your cartridge somewhat loosely first. Then install the stylus. Once the stylus is mounted into the cartridge, adjust the cartridge for the correct overhang for your particular turntable. If you are unfamiliar or inexperienced with installing, mounting, & adjusting cartridges/styli, please have an experienced professional do the installation for you.
