(High-End Anlage wird ausschließlich mit weissen Handschuhen bedient): Der Musical Fidelity M6 S DAC ist einer, der musikalische Nuancen mit holografische Genauigkeit und Abbildung, ultimativ lebendig herausarbeitet. Seine ESS 32 Bit Architektur sichert ihn die Übersicht und Klarheit, in jeder erdenklichen Digitalquelle ein Höchstmaß an Details durchleuchten zu können. Dank der allgemeinen Upsampling auf 768 kHz klingen selbst die zugespielten, niedrigen 44,1 kHz Quellen plötzlich komplett vollwertig: Beeindruckend, wie aus alten Aufnahmen dank dieses HD-Politeurs quasi neue werden; alles fließt glatt, Kanten und Härte verschwinden, die Raumabbildung wird greifbar präsent, Bässe, Mitten und Höhen bekommen einen gleichwertigeren Eindruck. Bei Hi-Res Files und DSD Datenstrom spielt das Gerät natürlich auf Weltklassen-Niveau, der Zuhörer bekommt ein weites Bühnen-Panorama, mit feinsten Details und Aura der Aufnahme, vorgetragene Soli & Ensembles klingen wie Live, heroisch und mit Enthusiasmus, gleichzeitig aber mit der Gelassenheit und Natürlichkeit, die man sonst nur bei Konzertbesuchen erleben darf. Der regelbare Class-A Kopfhörerausgang erlaubt sowohl für nieder, als auch für hochomigen Kopfhörern einen erstklassigen Anschluss per 6,3 - Jack auf der Frontplatte.Vermerk: Für einen Störungsfreien Betrieb mit zugespielten hochauflösenden DSD-Files empfehle ich die Peripheriegeräte ( z.B.: PC, Laptop) mit ausreichend Rechenleistung zu verwenden. Hardware & Software sollten die DSD Files in Augenhöhe begegnen, da sonst bei der Wiedergabe Rauschen oder Tonaussetzer als Folge auftreten können. Ich selbst habe das Gerät aktuell von einer Mac Book Pro mit der überragenden Audirv?na- Software quasi Fehlerfrei, auch mit DSD versorgen können. Dort bei Audirvana kann der Nutzer bei der Wahl des gerade zugespielten DAC-s immer die richtige auswählen und auch konfigurieren, um die gigantischen Massen an Datenströmen mit DSD fehlerfrei an M6 anliefern zu können. Daher empfehle ich, die PC-Peripherie-Systeme in Ruhe zu starten, um DSD rausch und störungsfrei genießen zu können. Das High-Res Audio Software Audirvana übernimmt nach dem Start sowieso die Steuerung, so läuft alles wie Honig, süß und edel, Musik genau mit Geschmack, klar und ehrlich definiert. Zusammengefasst sind etwaige Fehlstarts, Wiedergabefehler oder Tonaussetzer bei der Wiedergabe von Highres Files mit der M6 S Dac zwar nicht ganz ausgeschlossen, die meistens aber auf Bedienungsfehlers seitens der Nutzer zurückzuführen sind. Absolut, wie neu!Im Karton & mit Zubehör!Keine GebrauchsspurenTechnisch 100% einwandfrei Weder optische, noch technische Mängel vorhanden. Ich empfehle (nach ausgiebigem Hörtests): ausschließlich hochwertige Kabeln, die  in Sachen Geschwindigkeit, Einstreung, Isolationsrate die für Highres-Files notwendigen  technischen Parametern erfüllen können, um Übertragungsfehler und Tonaussetzer bei deren Wiedergabe zu vermeiden. Ich selbst verwende hier vom PC aus ein 3 meter SUPRA -Kabel mit A (beim PC) auf mini B Anschlussstelle (Siehe: Fotos) mit großem Erfolg: Über diese Art von Signalübertragung erfreut man sich wortwörtlich im Sekundentakt. Ein kleiner Tipp; da High-End Kabeln, wie der Supra, im Vergleich zu den billigen Strippen relativ schwer sind, werden bei mir bei jedem Gerät im Verlauf gegen Einknicken gestützt; Hier am Foto hat die kleine USB - B Anschlussstelle eine Art Stützfuß aus Silikon, wodurch das Kabel im sensiblen Bereich um den Anschluss herum immer entlastet, gerade bleibt. But I just cannot listen to music while working which is why I sell it. I only used the USB input and XLR outputs. I was waiting for the screen protection to fall of - it never did. This model is the last real high-end DAC by Musical Fidelity. A 11kg beast playing way above its price category. I bought it new for around 2.600€ about 4-5 years ago online. I cannot find the invoice, though. All accessory and the original box are included, see pictures.
