I bought this CD player new. Over the years it has had more and more trouble recognizing CDs. Now it only rarely recognizes a CD when you put one in. When it does recognize the CD it plays it perfectly. This is still a great sounding CD player. The problem is clearly in the laser mechanism. There are replacements available on eBay and elsewhere for $25-50. If you can do the work, or have someone who can do it youll have a great CD player for much less than its worth. If you have a beat up player, you can swap mechanisms and have a great condition player. The condition is near new, without scratches or other defects. This listing is for a pre-owned Musical Fidelity A3.5 (V2.2) Upsampling 24-Bit CD Player in good condition as seen pictured. This unit was tested working onsite and is guaranteed functional. The disc drawer has trouble opening and closing and it does not always respond right away when buttons are pressed. We are unsure on why this happens but it does work and plays as you can see in the photos. Also, one of the feet is missing. Cosmetically has minor wear from previous use including scuffs and scratches. No remote is included but the power cord is. Unit measures (L x W x H): 17 1/4 x 14 1/4 x 4 1/4 and weighs 13 lbs. 14 oz. This listing is for a pre-owned Musical Fidelity A3.5 (V2.2) Upsampling 24-Bit CD Player in good condition as seen pictured. This unit was tested working onsite and is guaranteed functional. The disc drawer has trouble opening and closing and it does not always respond right away when buttons are pressed. We are unsure on why this happens but it does work and plays as you can see in the photos. Also, one of the feet is missing. Cosmetically has minor wear from previous use including scuffs and scratches. No remote is included but the power cord is. Unit measures (L x W x H): 17 1/4 x 14 1/4 x 4 1/4 and weighs 13 lbs. 14 oz.
