Nach Systemumstellung habe ich einen neuwertig anmutenden Musical Fidelity M6si zu Hause den ich nimmer brauch.Gebraucht, von 2016, in hervorragendem Zustand, spielt wie am Anfang und ist in den letzten Jahren kaum gelaufen. Auch schwierig anzutreibende Boxen sind für das Teil kein Problem. Bei mir sind sie mit KEF R3 gelaufen, und obwohl die recht schwer zu treiben sind waren die ein Klacks für den Verstärker Zustand: Wie Neu, siehe Fotos. Nominell 150 Watt bei 8 ohm, 14.6 kg Trockengewicht, 19 kg Versandgewicht. Der Verstärker hat eine eingebaut Phono-Vorverstärkerstuffe für MM, die sich erstaunlich gut anhört. Des weiteren sind neben diversen Cinch Anschlüssen auch ein USB Eingang mit an Bord, der an einen DAC chip geht, somit kann der Verstärker auch direkt an einen PC/Laptop angeschlossen werden, diesen habe ich aber nie benutzt. Up for bid is this Musical Fidelity V-Link 96 kHz / 24 Bit USB-to-SPDIF Converter. The V-Link connects to a USB port on a Windows PC or Mac and converts the audio to Coaxial and Optical digital outputs that are compatible with any receiver or DAC with optical or coaxial digital inputs. The asynchronous aspect of the V-Link has to do with its internal software and hardware that re-clocks and stabilizes the digital audio signal to eliminate timing variation or jitter that Windows and IOS inherently introduce into their USB outputs. Musical Fidelity is a highly-regarded manufacturer of audiophile equipment, and the V-Link was favorably reviewed by Stereophile magazine in 2011 (https://www.stereophile.com/content/musical-fidelity-v-link-usb-spdif-converter-0). The V-Link requires no external power source, as it derives power from the USB port of the connected PC/Mac. It also does not require any external drivers or software to be installed on the PC/Mac. I am the original owner of this V-Link and used it to connect a Toshiba laptop running JRiver Media Center to an optical input on my Onkyo TX-NR807 receiver, with excellent results. The unit is in excellent condition, both operationally and physically, with no scratches, dents, or blemishes. I replaced the V-Link with a standalone USB DAC a few years ago and the V-Link has been sitting idle in my stereo cabinet since that time. I have decided its time to let it go. For clarification, note that the V-Link itself is NOT a DAC, and its output signal must be sent to an upstream DAC or home theatre receiver that accepts optical or coaxial inputs, for conversion to analog audio for your amplifier and speakers. Also note that the V-Link supports conversion of audio files up to 96 kHz / 24 Bit resolution. If your music collection contains downloaded high-res audio files with resolution greater than 96 KHz, the V-Link will not work with those files. While there are standalone DACS that accept USB inputs directly, most mainstream home theatre receivers do not, so this device is one of the best ways to output high resolution audio from your PC/Mac for processing by your receiver. If you are looking for a way to directly connect your PC or Mac music server to your home theatre receiver or non-USB DAC, the V-Link is for you.
