Musical Hall MMF-5.3 Turntable w/ cart. Comes with original packaging and all accessories. Purchased new Jan 2023. Comes complete with factory box, power plug, accessories. Purchased upgraded cork mat which really improved dynamics with out having to adjust the tone arm VTA. This table was being used in a secondary home and used only occasionally. My main rig had an AMG table and was spoiled by it. As a former tech and engineer I solved some problems and modified the table in a few areas as follows:Record clamp has a black thin felt pad attached to underside to provide a soft surface on record labels as it came with bare metal. The tone arm wires ground wire was resoldered and grounding terminal was sanded and reattached to improve static grounding (Im in Arizona, its dry. The tone arm being carbon fiber, the plinth being composite and record the mat/record being fibrous I was getting a lot of static build up and a sharp discharge when listening to records. These changes helped tremendously. There is a shield covering the drive motor that acts as beauty cover and motor mount. It was creating extra audible hum as it was only insulated with a felt pad and came over tightened from the factory which put too much compression on the top plate of the motor adding friction and sound. The cover hole for pully was enlarged to provide less resistance and reverb. Screw holes for motor were bored large to allow room for motor screw as the cover rested on them adding to the vibration. The cover was then strategically lined with Dynamat dampening material to avoid any interference with motor or plinth.Bottom base had Dynamat added to absorb any any motor vibration prior to reaching rubber feet holding up plinth. Low friction German bearing oil used for subplatter reservoir. Overall the turntable sounds great and runs great as well. I had a Rega P3 a few years ago and this table is noticeably better in every regard. Selling because I no longer have the other home and cant find use to this table. I have attached RPM charts for both 33 and 45 modes. Pro-Ject is the manufacture for Music-Hall and most parts are cross compatible. Tone arm, motor, platter, belt, sub platter are all parts from Pro-Ject. This is no secret and Pro-Ject happens to make a vast majority of the turntables in world market.

Pulled from audiophiles collection. Was in his record room. I know nothing about this type stuff. Ok I was just informed it has a power cable which I dont have. It was stuffed in one of the hundreds of boxes we took from home. I dont have it. I tried to keep all cables with the items but I wasnt the only one packing.

Turn table is New open box. Item was returned by the customer due to the counter weight being broken off. There is some scuffing near the needle from packaging. All components are still new and sealed inside the box. Please be aware that the counterweight appears to be damaged. It is a cheap part to replace and fix but we are not experts. Please be aware of this when purchasing.

Music Hall MMF-7 turntable. Turntable is in great used condition. Plays and sounds great. Some swirling and scuffs on the cover consistent with use. A few small spots in the finish. I tried to take a lot of pictures so please look closely at the pictures. All in all this is a fantastic turntable. Low hours on the cart. Probably less than 30. Updated tonearm leads. Will be meticulously packed. Not my first rodeo shipping turntables. Note: The turntable will ship with the counterweight removed. You will need to know how to adjust the tracking force on the tonearm. A small gram scale is usually helpful (using the graduations on the counterweight will get you in the ballpark but is not very accurate). Also goes without saying, but the Sumiko Blue Point No. 2 is a high output moving coil (MC) cartridge. You will need an appropriate phono preamp for proper playback. I bought this motor directly from Roy Hall - the owner of Music Hall Turntables. I used it very little having recently bought a Technics Turntable, I have tested both the 33 and 45 RPMs and they are accurate. It comes with the original adapter and hockey puck stand.
