PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BUYING! This TT has new belt and new Cardiz wires BUT the guy that rewired messed up and now there is a GROUND HUM issue that happened after the rewire. Music Hall mmf-5.1 belt drive turntable with Pro-Ject Speedbox s and Stanton 681eee moving magnet cartridge. I have had this turntable since 2008. I used it a bit until 2010 and it has been in storage since. I just set it up with a vintage Stanton 681eee with a new stylus from LP Gear ($149) and it sounds great. The turntable has an upgraded acrylic platter, upgraded Pro-Ject interconnect and new Path Wings cork mat and new belt. I was planning to use this as a second turntable, but have changed my mind. I have all the original materials including manual, 45-adapter, protractor, and a second mirrored protractor, vta allen wrench and more. The Pro-Ject speedbox is a high-quality addition which improves speed stability and allows changing speeds without removal of the platter. The gloss black plinth is super clean; close to mint. The dustcover has some scratches on the left (vertical) side that are not very noticeable. But if you want pristine, a new dustcover can be purchased for $70 and are easily available, e.g., Musicdirect.com. Es gibt mehr als genug die wegen einer zickenden Automatik schon vor der Ersten Platte aufhören Vinylisten zu werden ???????? 2.Jeder Einsteiger/Wiederkehrer/Interessierte der den simplen Erstaufbau gemeistert hat, also Riemen und Teller auflegen, wird hier mit der Bedienung kein Problem bekommen. Weil, umgestellt wird einfach der Riemen am Motorpulley und fertig…. Gibt halt auch Gründe, weshalb ich hin und wieder Geräte bekomme, wo Zusatzfunktionen einfach ausgebaut wurden. Denn: 3: Hat das alles auch extreme Auswirkungen auf den Klang. Die minimalste Ausstattung bringt auch den besten Klang mit sich. Das ist das Rezept welches Firmen, wie Pro-ject oder Rega, die im Familienstammbaum ja drin sind, so erfolgreich und gut macht!! Der Motor ist, aufgrund der guten Entkopplung, extrem laufruhig. Keine Endabschaltung oder Automatik die den Klang verfälscht. Hier herrscht Purismus in Reinstform. Und das führt, bei der Qualität, die kompromisslos bei den restlichen Bauteilen vorherrscht, zu einem unverfälschten, Originalen und erstklassigen Klang!! Das habe ich auch wieder beim Hörtest gemerkt. Man erwartet von so einem zierlichen Persönchen, keine so markante Stimme. Es gibt eigentlich nur 2 Gimmicks die über bleiben. Das sind ein Knopf für An/Aus und den Armlift, mit dem der Tonarm an und abgesenkt wird! Punkt!! Der Lift, der Butterweich hinabgleitet, ist dabei das prägnanteste Teil. Er ist hervorragend Verarbeitet und hat eine hohe Qualität, was Haptik und Bauweise angeht! Er wurde von mir gecheckt. Und das war mal mehr als erfreulich, denn hier gab es nix zu tun! Aber sollte bei so einem Youngtimer, und das ist er im Gegensatz zu meinen sonstigen Playern, eigentlich eher die Norm sein! Hier gab es bis auf das anbauen und Justieren des Systems, ein bissl Pflege und einer Politur der Haube, obwohl es hier mehr der Optik geschuldet war, Nix groß zu tun. A Pros Po Haube, diese ist genauso noch in einem schönen Zustand wie der Rest. Sie ist sehr Klar, Steht oben und glänzt nach Politur auch schön! Rundet den Blickfang akkurat ab! ???????????????????????? Alles in allem wirklich Sehr Guter Zustand. On Top kommt das Gute Stück mit einem System! Ich habe mich für ein Audio Technica VM 95E!!!!, also grüne Nadel, nicht wie auf den Bildern die blaue Konische!!!, entschieden. Vom Klang her ist das aus Preis/Leistungs Sicht ein wirklicher Runder Klang. Sicher ein gutes Einsteiger System, aus aktueller Produktion. ACHTUNG. DAS AT95C WURDE DURCH EIN AUDIO TECHNICA AT95E UNGEGRADET!!!!!! Somit habt ihr ein gutes System gleich gratis on Top! Der elliptische Schliff bietet hochwertige Klang der wirklich größer wie der Preis ist, das ermöglicht den Schnäppchen Preis. Zusätzlich ist es absolut zukunftsfähig, da die Nadeln alle untereinander Tauschbarkeit sind! Somit habt ihr, wenn die Nadeln nach langer Zeit mal verschlissen sind, die Möglichkeit zwischen jedem Schliff zu wählen. Zusätzlich sind sie auch noch mit einer guten Preis/Leistungsrelation versehen. Shibata und Microridge sind hier zu wirklich fairen Preisen drin!! Und keine Frage, es ist selbstverständlich eine Originalnadel! Nachbauten fetzen nun mal nur selten!! Also sind vom Konischem Einsteiger, über Ellipse, bis hin zu andere Spezielle Schliffen, wie die Shibata und Micro Linear Schliff, alles möglich. Sie brauchen also dann nur eine Nadel zu kaufen und nicht einen kompletten Tonabnehmer. Das spart Geld und jeder egal ob Einsteiger, Rückkehrer oder Profi, kommt da auf seine Kosten und das gesparte Geld kann man sinnvoller Weise im Plattenladen seines Vertrauens lassen. Für knapp unter 200€ ein Shibata ist vollkommen Irre. Kann natürlich gern dazu erworben werden! Sein guter Ruf ist sicher auch bei Allen bekannt!! Hergestellt werden die Ellipsen, indem man eine sphärische Spitze an ihrer Vorder- und Rückseite plan anschleift. Die entstehenden Kanten werden in der nachfolgenden Politur wieder geglättet. Elliptische Nadeln werden in vielen preiswerten, aber teils auch extrem teuren Systemen eingesetzt - je nach Qualität der Nadel. BLEIBT ZU VERMERKEN ELLIPTISCH = BESSERER KLANG(MEISTENS) Der Riemen der drauf ist, war so noch Sehr Gut und Stramm. Da ist erstmal noch lange Zeit Ruhe! Also ein toller Player! Abgerundet wird das Paket durch Bedienungsanleitung, Aufstellunterlagen, Schablonen zur Justage und alle Daten die es dazu gibt. Ein paar tolle Vinylscheiben freuen sicher auch jedermann!
