PC= Plate Current DC= Date Code Please note, TV7 data minimum is equal to 60%. For example, (insert model number here) min value 60. If the tube tests at minimum 60, that is equal to 60%. The number over (/) is the minimum test data result as described in the TV7 DU tube testing manual. So 60/ (min) 60 = 60% triode 1 13.8/32 PC 1.5 triode 2 12.3/32 PC 1.3 I mark all my tubes, so please dont waste your time seeking to send me back your old dead tubes. All testers read differently. I have sought to have my tester as accurate as possible. I will not be giving partial refunds because you have received different test result. Nos testing Siemens & halske ecc83. Matching etched codes - MC1 ? 7G balanced / matched 1: Gm 1888 / 1920 ma/V (NOS range on this tester is 1600 to 1900) Gain 98.8 / 97.4 Mu ( the gain range for ecc83 is 90 to 100) #2 Gm 1900 / 1950 Gain 100/102.3 Also tested in a dac and preamplifier . All good and they sound very nice indeed. Better sounding than mullard mc1 in my experience. Extremely rare. uk only

For sale is a nice early example of the Mullard ECC83 with long anode plates and square getter. This example has fairly good print with all writing still legible and only minor rubbing. Coded MC1 and B7B, this valve was manufactured in the Mullard Blackburn factory in February 1957. This valve has been AVO tested on a recently calibrated VCM Mk4, a very close match between the two triode sections with the following results: A1: 0.8mA - 1.2mA/V A2:0.75mA - 1.2mA/V I have also listened to this valve on a setup which amplifies the ECC83 sections by 400x, this allows me to listen deep within the valve for any noises that could get worse and make themselves apparent later in use. This valve is free from any noise and sounds excellent. Overall a used but great working example of this early Mullard ECC83. Item will be well packaged for postage, offers are welcome.
