Custom made speaker/monitor pair 11 1/2 X 8 1/2 X 8 1/2 inch triangle shaped speaker with port. One end of the speaker is flat (at 90 degrees to front) and one end is angled at approximately 15 degrees. This allows you to face the speaker straight out (on 90 degree end) or slightly upward (on 75 degree end) to use as floor monitors. You can also turn speaker on its side for a more upward facing monitor. Both speakers have a cable attached with a 1/4 tip/sleeve male plug. This could be changed to whatever is required. The speakers are 8 ohm Made of 5/16 plywood and are extremely light (about 3.5 lbs). Easy to transport. Small and dont take up much space. The paint job is not perfect, but could easily be repainted if you need it to look a little more polished. The front grill can be removed to allow access to the speaker mounting screws to remove speaker. to remove the grill, use a thin putty knife as a pry shield and a thin flat screwdriver to carefully pry the round grill off around the edges exposing the driver. Internally there is no crossover or fuse. You can add a fuse to the power line in if you like. Speakers are rated at 150 hz to 18 khz. Works great for small band as a monitor that doesnt need much bass to muddy up the sound (keyboards, guitars, maybe). The Neolite S5N-8 drivers on parts express are currently $59 each! At the time of listing the speakers have been tested with both music and a full test tone sweep and are working perfectly.
