They have a variable porting system on the back to either extend the bass or increase the soundstage, and 5 interchangeable acoustics filters to give you 10 settings for your perfect sound signature. These audio filters allow you to alter bass levels, treble levels and increase midrange as required. Tuned to perfection using IMRs Gen II custom 14mm Ceramic hybrid driver unit. Utilising a hi-res piezo ceramic driver combined with a 14mm dynamic driver with uprated neodymium motors for a huge soundstage and precise instrument placement and with a FR from 14-40000Hz to cover the whole audible range of audio. A very rare item these days, the Monitor Audio ET - 500 Direct Drive Turntable. Im not sure how many of these TTs were actually made, but theyre a limited item as Monitor Audio concentrated mainly on loudspeakers, with the ET-500 being the best TT they made (to show a presence in the field of TTs) Serviced + fullt checked over across the board before this listing. Minor scuffs here and there - all can be waxed + buffed out. Original adjustable feet. Original MA ET500 off board external power supply (to minimise electrical interference) + cable/ mains power jack. Overall condition is an easy 9 /10. Operationally 10/10. Strobe speed control is bang on + steady / fully working. The DD motor is made by Technics and is from their superb SL Series of motors which are outstanding + appear to last forever. No lid, but the TT has fully working hinges - you can get a replacement lid on Ebay. This TT is very heavy and appears to have been additionally weighted within its substantial heavy wooden base - I say this because when lifted, it feels a whole lot heavier than it should! Excellent build quality, matched by an excellent sound reporduction. A truely superb T.T. This TT is up there with most of the UK build TTs of the era, and only out done by esoteric equipment - a truely superb looking TT, and incredible performer. International bid welcome. Listed here for sale are a set of Audio-Technica ATH-PRO500MK2 in the limited edition red colour. These are fantastic headphones and offer a high quality immersive listening expereince. The item is foldable (see pictures) and ships with both a coil type cable and a regular straight cable, as well as a removable gold jack adapter so they can be used with both 3.5mm or larger style ports. A padded leather band is provided across the top piece for comfort as well as thick comfortable ear cups which cut out most outside noise.
