Has been tested and Turntable spins and the selector for rpm works as it should. Does have a stylus but the tone arm has been detached from the unit. I have partly reconnected it but there are still 2 wires not connected. Light works, shouldnt take too much effort to get it working again. Cosmetically it is in good condition except for the lid where it seems that something has melted onto the wood unfortunately (pictured). Den Plattenspieler daraus konnte ich retten, habe ihn ein wenig gereinigt und neu „geschmiert“ (mit den richtigen Ölen u.a. !) Grundsätzlich spielt er auch, der Klang (und damit das Tonabnehmersystem) sind OK. Der Antrieb (Motor, Reibrad) befinden sich in gutem Zustand. Nur die Automatik funktioniert nicht ganz. Die Platte fällt nicht von der Stapelachse herunter. Manuelles Aufsetzten reichte aber zum Testen und am Plattenende fährt der Tonarm auch automatisch zurück. Leider konnte ich außer einer schlechten englischen Anleitung (liegt bei) nichts über das Gerät im Netz ausfindig machen. Gerne auch Abholung in 51399 Burscheid-Hilgen Privatverkauf, keine Rücknahme, keine Garantie ! Bush Monarch Vinyl Record Player Model SRP.31D Vintage c.1960s. The Bush Monarch record player a design classic, produced in the 1960s machines were the dawn of a new era. With hinged lid, articulated vibration resistant turntable mount, volume, treble and bass controls inset beneath the front mounted speaker, and at the back of the case co-axial connections for input and outputs. Model number SRP.31D Serial number 522/06839. Player is in good condition, turntable is working, unable to test fully as needle needs replacing, power cable seems twisted and probably needs replaced, front badge is missing, but exterior metalwork appears corrosion free,Appears in good overall condition otherwise, probably needs new drive belts and a clean out due to age, all as shown in the pictures. All proceeds from this sale go to charity, supporting the work of the Devon Air Ambulance.
