This is a Bang & Olufsen MMC3 phono cartridge with a needle. Suspension is still good. However, when I play records with it the sound is very slightly distorted (it is most noticeable in the bass range) - selling thus for parts or repair. I have attached a video (with sound) and three high resolution closeup shots of the stylus (last three images).

This is a gently used SoundSmith SMMC3 phono cartridge. This was pulled from a working turntable and has had very little use. Soundsmith is the only authorized make of these B&O cartridges. This cartridge sounds great.

Recent purchase of my Linn LP12 came with Soundsmith SMMC 3 cartridge which the seller added new with adapter to fit standard head shell. My prefer to use my own Denon DL 110 HOMC cartridge so I’m trying to sell this like new condition cartridge. It’s in almost perfect condition with original case. Special adapter mount is included so it can be fitted to all types of head shell beyond the B&O turntables.
