They are not MITs higher end models but for the mid-fi/budget audiophile, they will do very nicely in any mid-tier system. The impedance system boxes on both cables were factory wrapped and just recently removed so condition is good. The S1 is the top of the Shotgun Line. It features switchable impedance options. You can adjust the impedance to maximize performance for any components specific input impedance. Change between 5-50kOhm, 40-100kOhm or over 90kOhm impedance with a simple flick of the switch on each Box.These were used connecting Sources to a Parasound JC2 Preamp (see separate ad) and 2 JC-1s for amps which have been sold. The MIT MH-850 Shotgun EVO PT speaker cable pair on offer is extremely rare and originally very expensive! OVER $7000 I have never seen one on sale before. Sold here for a fraction of the new price! It was originally developed to replace the Puppy Tails on the Wilson Speakers. It gave such outstanding results, that it became an excellent fit for other speaker/amp combinations. I have used the MIT MH-850 Shotgun EVO PT with my Spectral 360 mono block amps, my Audio Research 600 Mk. III mono block amps and my Soulution amp connected to my Kharma speakers with outstanding results. The sound is very detailed with extended highs, amazing bass, a sweet and textured midrange and a huge soundstage. The cable length is 5ft with the filter boxes connected end-to-end. This is more than enough to connect the amp to the speaker. The filter boxes are incredibly well built of solid metal and pretty heavy. Total weight of all 4 filter boxes is 27kg. All in good condition.
