Mission 707 Bookshelf Vintage Speakers. Selling a pair of excellent sounding speakers, in a restauration process: the woofers foam needs to be replaced as they deteriorated due to time, a very common problem of the material. Already bought a new pair of replacement foams and glue that Im giving with the speakers. Unfortunately, I dont have the time to finish the project but someone passionate with the time can bring it to an end, the replacement process is quite easy and I can provide instructions. Otherwise, the speakers are in an excellent condition for their age and they are coming with the original box, I believe they spent their entire life in a storage space, they are really like new. Except for a very small chip on one of the speakers, in the back, but I managed to find the missing bit and glued it down, its very hard to notice it. They will be very carefully packaged with protective material so they dont get damaged during transportation. I will leave some technical details and some reviews of prestigious audiophiles: The Mission 707 proved to be an exceptionally balanced and clean-sounding speaker. While its apparent bass was not as strong as our measurements might imply (remember, bass response is strongly affected by a speakers acoustic environment), it was certainly not lacking in any substantive respect. The smoothness and wide range of the speakers output was evident from first listening, and these qualities more than compensated for any real or imagined limitations in the lowest audible octaves. The Model 707 is not only an exceptionally efficient small speaker, but it is one that can handle huge dynamic-power inputs without damage or serious distortion. This quality implies that it can be played quite loud-and, more important, that it can produce the high peak levels of CDs and the best LPs.
