For sale is this great Cambridge Audio Minx X200 Active Subwoofer.Please ensure you rad the listing in full as the subwoofer is being sold on a NO RETURNS basis! I would class this subwoofer as being in a good, used condition, but there are quite a lot of marks, scuffs, scratches and signs of wear/use to the gloss white finish and the front cover has marks, stains and holes. There is also a snapped lug on the cover but stays in place fine. Please check out all the pictures (and ensure you zoom in for closer inspection) as these are of the actual item for sale and make up a large part of the description. Really is a great sounding subwoofer which is in full working order. I used them for around a year, as fill for a pair of stereo speakers, and the bass it kicks out is astounding, especially when you consider is compact size. This is mainly due to the 2 side firing BMR woofers to help extend the bass response and depth. Have a Google for full details and spec.Please note, there are a couple of issues. Firstly, when first connected to a power outlet, there is a slight humm from the subwoofer (from inside, not the woofer) which can be heard from around 30cm and closer but goes after a couple of minutes then will not return unless disconnected from the power and allowed to cool then reconnected. When going in and out of standby, the humm does NOT return so really doesnt affect use at all. Also, one if the metal caps from the RCA outputs is missing and as such, the audio output feature is not working. This does not affect the use of the subwoofer at all, but does mean it cannot be used to link to another subwoofer to supply audio to both units. Both RCA Inputs work fine.Baring the above in mind, it is being sold as working but on a NO RETURNS BASIS WITH NO RETURNS AT ALL! It comes as pictured, nothing else is included.
