The strobe light recently stopped to work and needs to be replaced (very often happens with this model), but the speeds were checked and work properly. Pictured Micro Seiki tonearm is NOT INCLUDED in this sale. The price was set accordingly. This model has a direct drive 20-pole 60-slot brushless DC servo motor. The platter is a cast aluminum and really heavy. The PD121 is designed to be as heavy as possible while taking into consideration not only the required inertial mass but also the resonance and strength of the motor bearings and parts. A bayonet mount type arm base is adopted for the arm base, and it is designed so that various arms can be replaced with one touch. The chassis uses an aluminum die-cast chassis of sufficient strength and weight, and the top panel uses a 3 mm anodized aluminum panel, which is held firmly in place with rubber and wooden frames for damping.
