They are indeed very rare and there are less chances to find one for sale. The player has a remote power supply to prevent interference with the audio path. The plinth is made of a lead sheet sandwiched pressed between two MDF boards. Very heavy at about 22kg the turntable rests on massive legs with rubber supports that have air chambers inside.
