Focus One Turntable JA Michell Engineering Record Player. In decent condition few marks on the front. Mission arm is good probably need’s a new needle. This does not switch on and the platter does not spin. The lid is a mess with the masking tape on it and one side panel has broken off. Please see pictures for condition.

The GyroDec is one of the most iconic turntable out there. It is immediately recognizable with their weighted pendulum styled sub chassis and three point spring suspension system on top of a large black acrylic plinth. Arm is a Rega RB300 and just needs a new cartridge and you are ready to boogie. Overall, turntable looks good with the usual scuff marks common with gloss black acrylic surfaces. This is a vintage Michell Engineering Record Clamp in good used condition. I think this was produced in the 1970s during the time of their relationship with Transcripors. It has some minor tarnish and scratches but should polish up nicely. A classic piece of British audio!

Michell Engineering RECORD CLAMP Rega. Get better sound from your vinyl by clamping it flat to the platter, evening out unwanted undulations and reducing resonance in the vinyl itself. Black Delrin light-weight record clamp, for use on record players. This is a special model for Rega and other turntables with a short spindle. If you have less than 6.5mm of spindle showing above a record then the standard clamp wont fit - you need this special Rega model. The Rega model also works with 6.5mm or more of spindle showing. (I tested it on a 14mm spindle and it clamped perfectly.)

This turntable is in very good condition and comes in a black acrylic/metal finish. There are a few scratches on the black acrylic base plate which are hardly noticeable under the clear acrylic perspex that sits on it. Also, one small nick at the centre of the platter which cannot be seen when the record clamp is in place (see photos). It was manufactured in 2014 and the serial number is 295. The current retail price is £5,500. Unfortunately we do not have the original packaging but will make sure it is secure for delivery purposes.
