Vtg Sony MiniDisc Recorder MDS-101 Digital Stereo Mini Disc Player BLK. I did plug in the power and the lights did go on like a normal mini displayer but the ejector does not accept mini discs it does not grab the disc and slide it in. That may be the only problem. Based on research that is probably the most common thing that goes wrong and the odds are fairly high that all the other components work well inside. Im not guaranteeing it because I dont know how to analyze it beyond using it, but only known flaw is ejector doesnt work. Whether there are more flaws or not thats for you to know and find out. At first I thought we could fix it with an ejector slip belt, but the unit looks fundamentally different than the one they showed on YouTube. I do have that extra slip belt and it will be included with the mini disc player so that you can fix it yourself.
