The MAC 4200 is the lowest production McIntosh receiver, as only 1,189 of these units were built, from 1985 to 1987, making the 4200 very rare and collectible. At that time McIntosh incorporated their new MR-7082 Tuner circuit with their first digital station frequency display - the new C-30 Preamp section and the new MC-752 Power Amplifier section. The three internal rechargeable AA batteries alung with the battery holder has been replaced with new ones.
