This is a used consignment McIntosh MT5 turntable in very good condition.Includes the original box and manual as well as the Nagaoka top of the line MP-500 MM cartridge.The turntable functions 100% perfect and the cosmetic condition is very good with only the normal small swirl marks on the acrylic cover and the black gloss cabinet top. Howdy, Offered for auction are a pair of McIntosh MT_150 tweeters. These were spares from a restoration I made of my speakers. Both work, but note: They are NOT MATCHED, they are of different manufacture and vintage. The coils are intact and measure about 9.8-10 Ohms. The cones are intact and undamaged. Please look at the photos carefully and bid accordingly, and make sure they are right for your model and vintage speaker. These came from a McIntosh ML-1C, and I think they are also used in the ML-2C, possibly the ML-4C. They are sold AS IS, NO RETURNS. Im a small time hobbyist, so I cant afford to take these back. Shipping is going to be for 6 lbs from 22903, insured, with delivery confirmation. The delivery confirmation will be used to verify receipt of the package, so please do not have me ship to an address that is prone to porch pirates. I will consider the goods delivered when the PO says they are delivered. Im also going to double-box these, because they have been stored in some boxes that suspend them, so the cones cant hit anything. I think that is the safest way to get them to you UNDAMAGED. Description : The McIntosh MA6200 was first released in 1978 and discontinued in 1991. By gathering the available technology that McIntosh had used, the MA6200 was developed. The amplifier uses a special-NetWare-program equalizer which makes five independent bands. It has two tapes circuitries in which mutual dubbing is also possible, a pre-mains separation termination, a succession good transformation loudness Compensation, etc. are carried. The McIntosh still has its original power guarding system, which suppresses clipping distortion automatically, and the speaker is protected from an emergency outage. An optional Panloc wooden case to cover the amplifier can be purchased during that time. That wooden case may come in Walnut or Glass black finishing. Though the McIntosh 6200 is a solid state amplifier, it has a wonderfully balanced and warmish sound that lets the music shine through. There is a real sense of effortlessness and transparency as well as dynamism. The ambience the sound produced makes the user feel like he is listening to music rather than just listening to music played through an amp, which is a good thing. The bass sounds fuller and midrange is more sweet, liquid and musical. The superb lush, warm and easy to listen to sound is true to its McIntosh signature sound characteristic. Overall the MA6200 is well made in the Binghamton tradition.
