It is now 100% ready to go. Comes with original paperwork. It has one slight cosmetic issue in the form of a bit of hazing on the left side of the dial glass. McIntosh MCD7005 CD Player acquired from the family of the original owner. I thoroughly tested this CD player and although it works, it has a couple of flaws. Sometimes the CD drawer does not go back into the unit all the way, it has to be helped by gently pushing it 1/8-1/16. After loading it a few times it retracted fully but as stated sometimes it needs a little help. Second flaw is that there is a smudge on the inside of the viewing glass. Its not on the actual display, its definitely on the glass and looks like a fingerprint(please view picture #5.) I am not going to start opening up a unit and taking apart the front panel to clean it. Third, there is No Remote Control Included. The original owner lost it in the couch never to be seen again. Thats the story with this high-end CD player. Working with a quirk or two. It probably needs lubrication or a new belt, but it can surely be used just the way it is. Sound quality is phenomenal, I used my Adcom component system to test it. Please view the auction photos. What you see is Exactly what you get. NO UNPLEASANT SURPRISES.
