The McIntosh MC2105 is a vintage solid state stereo power amplifier designed for audiophiles. It comes with its original wood case and is a great addition to any home audio setup. The amplifier is made by McIntosh and is part of their MC series. The model number is MC2105. The 2105 comes in at 105wpc. Just enough power to rattle the neighbors windows. I have gone inside and cleaned everything and deoxited all the controls. She looks and sounds amazing. She has never let me down. I ran my ESS Tower One speakers on it and it sounded amazing. The last 3 pics are of all 3 pieces together. It can be purchased like that if interested let me know we can work something out. Each piece is listed separately and this is the auction for the amplifier only and not all 3 pieces. the black paint behind the face has some chips and scratches but nothing major. Please look at all the pics. The paint marks are an easy fix either with more black touch up paint or I use a permanent marker. Email me with any questions. I purchased this amplifier new in July, 1969. It has been maintained exclusively by McIntosh Laboratories in Binghampton, NY, including a thorough going-over in 2010 at a cost of $668.00. The unit works, but upon startup there are several loud pops, likely indicating the power supply filter capacitors need replacement, which is common and will be the third time for this unit. Otherwise the amplifier works, but I have listed it as for parts or not working since I dont know if any other repairs are needed. Cosmetically the amp is good, with some blisters on the faceplate, and a small amount of corrosion on the back panel, defects which can be seen in the photographs. I have taken these defects into account in pricing the amp. The unit will be shipped in the McIntosh carton designed specifically for the MC2105, important given its weight. The amplifier will include the Panloc mounts for cabinet mounting, but can be used freestanding.

There are no inside packing materials such as the foam and no manuals or instructions AND NO AMP IS INCLUDED. The box shows normal age and wear and has its original tape still adhered in many areas. The original shipping label is still affixed from McIntosh Laboratory Inc Binghamton NY. There is some writing on the box in the form of a couple numbers; otherwise, the box remains a nice remnant of McIntosh history! Dates between 1967-1977.
