If you are looking at this Im sure you know what it is. I wont bother listing its specs -- as you can find that online. It is in excellent cosmetic and working condition. The only issue I see is that some of the lettering has come off. The lettering under one of the tubes and the word over the volume control are missing. See pics. Included (along with the original Mac tubes) are a pair of nice, matched pair of Genelex Gold Lion 12ax7 tubes and a wonderful matched pair of vintage Telefunken 12at7 tubes. I bought the Gold Lions from Upscale Audio and I believe I bought the Telefunkens from Viva Tubes. Both quality vendors. Also included is an upgraded W Audio power cable. The MA 252 is a great sounding amp in stock form but I believe these upgrades kick it up a notch.The remote is not original but a brand new SofaBaton universal remote. It has been programed for the MA 252 and everything works on the amp and remote as it should. You can also program it to control other devices in your system if you wish -- Just down load the app. punch in the make and model number of your device and sync phone/remote. It is a very nice unit. And last but not least is a brand new cover with the McIntosh logo embroidered on the front.All the original documents are included as well The amp will be will packed in its original box and packing material as well as double boxed for shipping. These transistors eliminate the typical amplifier warm-up time so that the MA252 is in peak operating condition from the moment it’s turned on. A powerful control microprocessor is used for smooth system operation, along with some of the latest audio-grade circuit components that deliver the best possible sound. Power Guard Technology Thanks to its solid state output, the MA252 is our first product containing vacuum tubes to include our patented Power Guard® technology. Power Guard monitors the output signal for signs of over driving and makes real time micro adjustments to the input signal to prevent harsh sounding clipping that could potentially damage your speakers. If Power Guard is activated, the 2 vacuum tubes connected to the affected audio channel(s) will flash an amber color; they will return to their normal green color when the clipping has stopped. Other McIntosh technologies found in the MA252 include Sentry Monitor™, High Drive headphone amplifier and gold-plated speaker binding posts. Input selection, bass, treble, tone bypass, balance and input offset levels can be adjusted using the front panel knobs or the included remote control; all settings and input selection will be shown on the OLED display. The entire unit sits atop a beautiful polished stainless steel chassis with a classic McIntosh-styled die cast aluminum name badge attached to each side. Beautiful & unique dustcover and display for McIntosh Amplifier MA 352 The perfectly and professionally assembled 4 mm pmma thick covers main function is to protect your Mcintosh and its tubes from dust leaving a visual access. When amplifier is on, the cover has to be removed and can be placed back as soon as its turned off . The cooling process is granted by the construction of the cover . It has two openings . On the back where the cables are and one in the front . The heat will be automatically evacuated and the cooling process is assured.
