THIS HAS A JAPANESE TUNER! this auction is for one of the best sounding audiophile decks ever made. this is the mcintosh mx4000/MDA4000 cd player and digital to analog converter. these are rare and they sound better than the mx406. they put the d/a converter outside of the deckso the deck would have little to no noise when competing in sound quality shows. it also has the dc/dc converter and harness.this one works perfectly. this system has been refurbished. the refurbishing consists of the dc/dc converter getting recapped and resoldered, the cd mechanism beingfully cleaned,lubed, and a new laser installed. the mda4000 does not need anything done to it. the pictures show the condition and i brighten my photos to show all flaws. this auction is for an oem installation kit for the mcintosh mx406,mx406s,mx4000,mx5000,and mpm4000 units. this is the mac-103-100 which consists of the following: cage, mounting side tabs, radio keys, key to remove the silver side trim(not included), wires to splice with the radio, radio backstrap, foam tape, and screws. these are the oem ones and are impossible to find and most units are missing them.

this auction is for a completely refurbished, complete cd mechanism for the mcintosh mx406 and mx4000and the clarion drx9255 cd player. the mechanism comes with a WARRANTY. the work includes:the whole cd mechanism is gone through with a new laser and any other parts and it is all lubed as well.i have sold these up to 600 before.
