Gorgeous Mcintosh MC275 Mk VI from a smoke-free home. It may be used with both balanced or single-ended preamplifiers; I believe balanced mode brings out the absolute best of it. Id always wanted one, and absolutely love the sound, but have far too much equipment and must rationalize the collection. The amp is the very definition of greatness. It drives a huge variety of speakers with weight, definition, authority, air, and rhythm. It is not your typical tube amp by any means. Mind you, it is still a tube amp, but does bass with rhythm and authority you would not expect from a tube amp. You will not hear bloat. You will not hear noise.
