Up for sale is a FACTORY AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER REFURBISHED McIntosh MC 7205 five channel power amplifier. This unit was purchased from the original owner with three channels not working from a power surge. It was taken to Fort Worth Audio which is a McIntosh certified repair center. Fort Worth Audio has recently merged with Gunter TV and Appliance and is now called Gunther Audio and Video. The unit was completely gone through. Two of the PCBs had do be replaced along with one of the IC chips. All of the lamps were replaced and the glass and blue filters cleaned. The unit was extensively tested and checked to be in perfect operating condition. The cost of repairs exceeded $1000 and a copy of the repair receipt will be include with the sale of the amp. Cosmetically this amplifier is in excellent condition. The amp is free of scratches and marks of any kind. Please look carefully at all of the pictures and judge the condition for yourself. The only flaw I can find is some slight discoloration of the center meter. Look carefully at the pictures to judge the severity of this issue.
