Hello and welcome to my listing. I am selling a McIntosh C41 Preamplifier in outstanding condition! There are tiny imperfections on the back edge which are shown in picture number 8. The rest of the preamp is pristine! I purchased this from a seller that purchased it from Audioclassics in February 2023. I purchased it from him in April 2023. I contacted Audioclassics which is located in upstate N.Y., to see what they did to it. They told me they took care of the lights. They said the McIntosh C41 preamp is not prone to failure. They also told me the preamp is well within specs. This is actually the best condition I have seen a used McIntosh preamp in. They are usually all scratched up. NOT THIS ONE! The preamp comes with the original remote and a new remote. The new remote was not used by the seller and he wasnt sure it would work, but I opened it and tested it out. It works perfectly. The new remote is the HR033. The original remote also works perfectly as well. The original remote is in good condition. I do have the inner and outer boxes, but I do not like the condition of the outer box. I think it detracts from the amazing condition the preamp is in, but I will include it. Consider it a bonus and not part of this listing. The outer box is still strong enough for shipping. Its just not pretty. Thats how I received it, what can I do? I purchased an original owners manual for it and I am including it. The preamp also comes with a generic power cable. I am asking $1699.00 with free shipping to the 48 States.
