Beautiful condition working perfectly

A nice MC250. This amp has been in storage for 20 years and was kept as a spare for the former owner. I got it about a year ago and finally hooked it up. I replaced a resistor on the right channel driver board and touched up one questionable solder joint. The stereo/mono switch was also a little dodgy and I disassembled it and properly cleaned the switch contact points. Ive been running in my system for over a month with absolutely no issues. Im now comfortable to pass it along. There was no heat stress on any of the boards.The only issue is some, what Ill call, minor pitting on the chrome. I never thought much about the first gen Mac SS amps. I love their vintage their tube stuff, especially the MC225--what an amp. Turns out this amp is amazingly musical and coherent. It is a little on the warm side and has great bass. It is clearly based on their tube circuits with the transistors acting in place of the valves. I hate to sell it, but I need to buy a new dac. I promise it will be well packed, Im retired from 45 years in the audio industry and know how to pack and double box heavy gear. Being a 55 year old component, understand that the internal parts are old. Having said that, it is an heirloom product that should last another 30 years with minor maintenance.
