MCINTOSH L54 CABINET For MC2105, MC2202, MC2205, MC2255, MC7200, MC7270, MC7300. This cabinet, from my research, is the L54 model and fits McIntosh power amplifiers listed above. Please note: this info is strictly from my own research… If you are curious as to whether or not this cabinet will fit your amplifier, please research on your own for confirmation. A few words about condition: as you can see in the photos, this cabinet has wear. I purchased it a couple years ago in the same exact condition you see today. It was purchased to house my 2205. With a little refurbishment/restoration, the right buyer can get this cabinet looking great again. Notes on functionality: the brackets lock into the corresponding amplifier in a very solid manner. Despite the cosmetic wear, the functionality of this cabinet is exactly as it should be. I am requesting payment within 2 days of the close of the auction, buyer is responsible for shipping costs, and it is listed with no reserve.

McINTOSH MC2205 STEREO POWER AMPLIFIER MC 2205.I purchased 3 pieces from an estate sale ( C-28 & MR78)- I have Hooked everything up and tested and both Channels are working. The pieces show signs of being kept in a non Air Conditioned environment. There is some surface rust on the Chassis and the Glass has age bubbling. The amp plays , switches and gain controls work but are noisy and need to be cleaned. In general the amp is all there but could use a good cleaning and going through. the front glass and bulbs should also be replaced.I purchased a New Factory Mcintosh inner and outer box in order to facilitate shipping.I really hate shipping Mcintosh amps as they are very heavy and the shippers dont really care how they treat them and then when they do damage something they dont want to pay for it. It becomes a very time consuming ordeal!Please discuss shipping options with me if you are interested PRIOR TO PURCHASING Ebay will only allow the item to be insured for the amount paid.I would prefer if the Buyer would take full responsibility for arranging shipping and insuring the amp.I will assist it packaging it properly in the new Factory boxes and will provide pictures that it is packed properly.I have been thru a Damage Claim with Fed Ex before and I dont want to do it again.
