Up for sale is a 2.1 Parasound Halo P6 pre-amplifier with an on-board MM/MC phono section and DAC. I am the original owner and this unit has always been in a smoke-free and pet-free environment. The Parasound P6 checks all the boxes to complete an audiophile system. I bought this preamp because it has a moving-coil phono section. It worked great with my low output, moving-coil cartridge. I found it had plenty of gain bringing my Emotiva mono-block amplifiers to life (see related ad for the mono-blocks). Another consideration was it offered XLR connections. As a bonus, I used the on-board DAC when I needed some background music while I worked around the house. I streamed to my Macbook then routed that signal into the preamp with a USB cable. It performed great. Alas, I now have a much smaller listening room that is kind of isolated from the rest of the house, thus I dont use the DAC anymore. Besides, I have downgraded to a lower powered integrated which doesnt have a DAC. Its time for someone else to enjoy this well appointed, in-new-condition, preamp. Cool operation ensures the longest possible operating life for any electronic instrument. Do not install the MDA1000 directly above a heat generating component such as a high powered amplifier. Außerdem ist ein Phono-Vorverstärker mit einer Auswahl an MM- und MC-Tonabnehmern an Bord. Es gibt auch einen DAC (24 Bit/192 KHz). All dies ist in einem unauffälligen, aber gepanzerten Gehäuse untergebracht, wobei die massiven Kühlkörper außen angebracht sind, da der Verstärker im Betrieb heiß werden kann. Aus diesem Grund sollten Sie sich um die Wartung der Geräte keine Sorgen machen. Apart Vinci verfügt über keine Lüfter, arbeitet daher außergewöhnlich leise und staubt nicht. Die Lautsprechersets der Serien Vinci4, Vinci5 und Vinci7 werden vom Hersteller auf den jeweiligen Verstärker „abgestimmt“. Laut fwdmagazine.be schnitt der Vinci 2125 jedoch in anspruchsvolleren Sets wie dem JBL Studio 590 (92 dB) oder dem schwieriger zu steuernden Teufel Ultima 800 MkII (86 dB) gut ab. Aus meiner Erfahrung kann ich bestätigen, dass dieser Verstärker perfekt zu den Grundig Audiorama 8000 Lautsprechern passt. Es sind keine Korrekturen erforderlich.
